What is aerial yoga?

Aerial yoga is a method that uses aerial silk slings to access yoga postures. These exercises are low impact and therapeutical, while offering opportunities for advancement in strength and agility. The methods taught in these classes can be used on their own or to complement a regular yoga practice. There is no experience required. Beginners are encouraged!

Kimberly Sabel is a certified yoga teacher (200 RYT), and she holds a 65-hour certification in Unnata® Aerial Yoga. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance, and she is currently the only individual in Alabama licensed to teach Unnata Aerial Yoga. Kimberly studied this method in Charleston under Jordan Anderson. Jordan Anderson was in the first ever training for Unnata Aerial Yoga with it’s Founder, Michelle Dortignac. If you would like to learn more about this method, click here.
